Description

This is a late 18th-century house, originally a barn, located in Barnwell St. Andrew. It is now used as a house and office. The structure is built of squared, coursed limestone and has a thatched roof. The original layout was a two-unit plan. The house has two storeys and a three-window front, featuring 19th-century-style casement windows with wooden lintels. A 20th-century door and porch are centrally placed. Large stone blocks form quoins at the corners and window dressings. Rebuilt stone stacks are situated at either end. The interior has not been inspected.
