Description
This is a house dating from the early 18th century, constructed from regularly coursed limestone with a thatch and pantile roof. It has an irregular T-shaped plan and is a single storey with an attic. The main front features a gabled cross-wing that projects forward to the right. There is a two-window range of 19th-century style casement windows with wooden lintels on the ground floor, and a plain casement window in the apex of the gable for the attic. A 19th-century style casement window is also found in the return wall of the cross-wing, again under a wooden lintel. A brick and stone chimney stack is located at the ridge, and a similar casement window is present on the right elevation. The entrance is in a 20th-century single-storey extension attached to the rear right, which has a pantile roof. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have remains of an open fireplace with a bressumer.
