Description
Park Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse built from regularly coursed limestone and topped with a slate roof. It originally has a T-shaped plan and stands two storeys high. The entrance front features four- and six-light stone mullion windows with transoms and labels. A central 19th-century part-glazed door is framed by a moulded stone surround. The gable parapets are made of ashlar and include kneelers and ball finials at the eaves, with ashlar stacks at each end. The left elevation mirrors the front with similar four-light stone mullion and transom windows. There is a later 19th-century extension at the rear. The ground floor windows have panelled reveals. Notably, the house was constructed using masonry from the Yelverton mansion, which was located to the northeast of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul.
