Description

The Old Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It was originally built in the mid 18th century and remodeled in the mid 19th century. The building is constructed from regularly coursed limestone and features a 19th-century pantile roof. It has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys high with an attic. The elevation facing the road has three windows on the first floor and four on the ground floor. The 19th-century casement windows, some of which have glazing bars, are set under wooden lintels and shallow stone arches. The roof is a combination of hipped and gabled styles, with a brick and stone stack at the ridge. A 20th-century door is located in the left gable. The rear wing includes 19th-century dormer windows. The building is included for its group value.
