Description

The Bel-Air Laundrette is a late 18th-century building on the east side of High Street, Winslow. The left side wall shares a 17th-century timber truss with the adjacent building at No. 2a. The laundrette is constructed of vitreous brick with red dressings, features a plain parapet, and has a 20th-century tiled roof. It is two storeys high with one bay. The front of the building has a 20th-century shop front. The first floor has been altered; the left side contains a barred sash window with a gauged brick head, and the right side features a 19th-century canted oriel with a cornice. The building is included on the list for its group value.
