Description
Corner Cottage is a small house that dates from the late 17th century to the 18th century and was altered and extended in the early 19th century. The original bay on the left features a timber frame with brick infill at the front, while the rest of the house has been rebuilt in brick, with some areas whitewashed. It has an old tiled roof that is half-hipped at both the front and rear, and a brick chimney is located on the left side. The cottage is one storey with an attic and has 20th-century three-light leaded casements at the front, along with a 20th-century door and gabled porch on the right. The early 19th-century extension to the right consists of one bay and includes similar casements, with a three-light window on the ground floor and a two-light window in a small gabled dormer. There is also a lean-to structure at the rear.
