Description

Sales Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed house with two bays and two storeys, featuring two rear additions at right angles from the 18th century. The building has old tile roofs and brick infill in the timber-framing on the west gable elevation and the north front. It includes three-light leaded casements and a blocked central door on the north side in front of a slender 17th-century brick stack. The house has half-hipped gables and south ranges with tile-hung gables, along with a former bread oven in the west wall. The windows are casements, and there is a one-storey range to the north-east, with the entry now located in the east wall.
