Description
Grove Farm is a 15th-century barn that has been converted into a house, with additions made around 1970. The building consists of three bays and is constructed from knapped flint, featuring ashlar and red brick quoins. The roof was raised in the 17th century and is covered with old tiles. The lower wing on the north-east side is also from the 15th century but has a modern roof. There are modern additions to the north and south that infill the central car entry. The east elevation showcases a close-studded timber-framed gable, a modern first-floor window, and a restored two-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor. The north wing features a restored 15th-century stone doorway with a two-centred arch. The south elevation includes one-storey additions and a central entry. The west elevation has a close-studded timber-framed gable and queen strut roof trusses.
