Description

The barn located to the west of Chartridge Green House is dated 1723, as indicated by a post. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with black weatherboarding and an old tiled roof. The west side has a projecting gabled cart entry, which is flanked by outshots and includes modern garage doors. Inside, the barn consists of three bays, with straight braces supporting the tiebeams and raking queenposts leading to the purlins.
