Description

This barn, located approximately 30 metres to the south-west of Woodgreen Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It features a timber frame with a brick plinth and is clad in weatherboarding. The roof is covered with old tiles and has a central projecting midstreys that is hipped to the east and gabled to the west. The structure consists of five framed bays with aisles. Inside, there is a double purlin roof supported by stepped queen post trusses, except for the southern truss which includes queen struts and a collar. The barn also has longitudinal and transverse bracing.
