Description

The barn at the former Woodley Green Farm is a late 17th-century structure. It features a timber frame with some brick infilling, but is mostly covered in weatherboarding. The roof is made of old tiles, with a midstrey and a half hipped section that extends over a 19th-century aisle on the north side. The barn consists of five framed bays along with an additional 19th-century east bay, which includes a waggon entrance located at the fifth bay on the east end. Inside, the roof is supported by queen posts with clasped purlins, and the posts are jowled with archbraces connecting to the ties.
