Description

This is a barn dating from the 18th century, located at Mapletree Farm to the west and south of the farmhouse. It is timber framed, built on a brick plinth, and has weatherboarding with an old tiled roof. The barn features a projecting gabled cart entry on the left side and a carriage arch formed through the right-hand bay. There are small modern leaded windows. Inside, the barn has three bays, with curved braces supporting the tiebeams and queen struts extending to the collars. The barn is included for its group value with the surrounding buildings.
