Description
Limetree Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the 17th century but was refronted in the 18th century. It is constructed of dull red brick with bright red brick dressings and quoins. The roof is made of old tiles and features end stacks. The building is two stories high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a modern half-glazed door that is sheltered by a bracketed hood. On either side of the door are wide sash windows, and on the first floor, there are three narrower sash windows. All the windows have flat gauged brick arches, and the outer windows are connected by vertical red brick lines. The central window on the first floor has a scalloped apron and an arch with a moulded frame. The brick in the front wall is dated 1729.
