Description

This small barn, located to the east of Sycamore Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century and has been altered over time. The lower walls are constructed of whitewashed brick, while the upper section features a timber frame with weatherboarding. It has a slate roof and consists of two wide bays, each with an additional central truss. The trusses were modified in the late 19th to early 20th century. On the north side, there are two entries on the left and a small barred casement window on the right. A lean-to added in the 19th to 20th century is present on the south side. This barn is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
