Description

This barn, located to the northwest of Orchard Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century and has been altered over time. It features a timber frame with weatherboarding and a brick plinth, topped by a tiled roof that has a half hip at the eastern end. The barn consists of four bays and includes two 20th-century metal casement windows on the south side, as well as a board door in the eastern gable. The roof structure has mostly been renewed and includes slight raking queen posts. The barn is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
