Description

Sannie Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, altered subsequently. It is timber-framed with red brick infill, and has painted rendering to the first floor front elevation, with modern brick at ground floor level. The roof is tiled, with external end stacks. The house is two storeys high and has two bays. It features modern three-light leaded casements, a canted bay to the left-hand side of the ground floor with a hipped tiled roof, and a four-light window to the right-hand side. An ironstone plaque is centrally located on the first floor, featuring a carved surround, sundial, and a plinth inscribed "SANNIE COTTAGE." A modern rear addition is present.
