House. C17 with C19 extension, formerly a shop. Timber frame with colourwashed brick infill, half-hipped tiled roof. One storey and attic, 1½ bays. Gable end to road has 3-light wooden casements to ground floor left and attic, and horizontal sliding sash to ground floor right. Board door to centre. Lateral chimney incorporated into C19 single storey extension to right, of colourwashed brick with large horizontal sliding sash and stable-type door. Rear gable rebuilt in colourwashed brick. Interior has slight timber partition wall and winder staircase. RCHM I p. 299 Mon.6.
