Description
Rivendell is a small cottage dating from the 18th century. It has a timber frame with plastered infill on the left gable and rear, whitewashed render on the front, and whitewashed rubble stone on the right gable. The cottage features a thatched roof that is half-hipped on the left side and has a brick chimney on the right gable. It is 1½ storeys high and consists of one bay. The front of the cottage has 19th-century paired barred casements, with the first-floor window also covered in thatch. The left gable includes a glazed panel, a small brick extension, and a lean-to half-timbered porch. There is also a brick lean-to at part of the rear.
