Description

Winters End is a cottage dating from the late 17th to 18th century. It features a timber frame with diagonal braces, whitewashed brick infill, and a rendered plinth. The roof is half-hipped and thatched, with a rebuilt brick chimney on the right. The cottage has one storey and an attic, comprising two bays. The ground floor has 20th-century plastic casements, with leaded paired and single lights to the right, while the upper floor has two paired barred casements set in thatch. There is a door to the left, and a small extension from the 1960s made of whitewashed brick with a thatched roof. Inside, the cottage includes a narrow chamfered spine beam, a rubble stone fireplace, and rough roof timbers.
