Description
Walkers Cottages, originally a row of cottages and now divided into two dwellings, date from the 18th century. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble stone and have a thatched roof, with three brick chimneys. The building is 1½ storeys and has five irregular bays. The ground floor features seven barred wooden casement windows, paired in the central bays and single in the outer bays, with two casements in blocked doorways. All ground floor openings have cambered stone heads. The first floor has five casements set within the thatch. The casement to the right is a three-light window with leaded outer panes, while the remaining first-floor casements are paired and barred, with two featuring tiled aprons.
