Description
The Swan Inn is a public house dating from the late 18th century. It features whitewashed brick with toothed eaves and a slate roof, along with brick chimneys located on the left and rear. The building has two storeys and an attic, arranged in three bays. The outer bays are highlighted by two-storey canted bay windows topped with moulded cornices. The ground floor windows are barred, while the first-floor windows have horizontal glazing bars only. The centre of the first floor has paired casement windows above a six-panelled top-lit door, which is framed by a plain wooden surround with minimal pilasters and a flat cornice hood supported by cut brackets. The attic gables also contain paired leaded casements. To the left, there is a single-storey bay that uses similar materials and features barred sash windows in a canted bay.
