Description
School End Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with toothed brick eaves and features a gambrel roof covered with 20th-century tiles, along with flanking brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a two-bay layout. The windows are 3-light leaded casements, with those on the ground floor having segmental heads. There are hipped dormers that contain paired barred casements. The central entrance features a 6-panelled door, which is top-lit and set in a simple wooden surround, topped with a cornice hood supported by cut scroll brackets. Above the door is a blind panel. Additionally, there is a long range of outbuildings attached at right angles to the rear of the farmhouse.
