Description

Blue Gates is an early 19th-century house located on Church Lane in Great Horwood. The building is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with a brick stack on the east gable. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The south front showcases paired barred wooden casements with cambered heads in the outer bays of the ground floor, while the first floor has three pairs of wooden casements from the 19th century. There is an entry on the north side, and attached to the left is a single-storey outbuilding made of rubble stone, which has an old tile roof, a brick coped gable, and a small window.
