Description

The Paddocks is a house dated to the 18th century, built with blue header bricks on the right gable. It has been altered and extended at the rear during the 19th and 20th centuries. The building features vitreous headers with red brick quoins, window surrounds, a flush first floor band course, and moulded eaves. It has a slate roof and flanking brick chimneys. The house is two storeys high with two bays. On the ground floor, there are 19th-century canted bay windows with cornice tops, and the first floor has 19th-century sash windows. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door set in a wooden surround with panelled reveals, minimal pilasters, and a small cornice hood supported by cut brackets above a wooden frieze panel.
