Description

No. 10 High Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a brick plinth, a first-floor band course, a moulded modillion eaves cornice, and bands of blue headers. The roof is hipped, with slate covering the front pitch and tiles on the remainder, along with three brick chimneys. The building has an L-plan and consists of two storeys with three bays. On the ground floor, there is a three-light leaded casement window to the left, two blocked doorways in the centre (with the left doorway having paired 20th-century casements), and a 20th-century canted bay window to the right. The first floor has paired leaded casement windows. Access to the house is from the left side.
