Description

No. 4 High Street is an early 19th-century house constructed of colourwashed brick, featuring toothed brick eaves and a slate roof with three brick chimneys. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall with three bays. The ground floor includes three-light windows, with wooden frames on the left, a barred window in the centre, and a canted bay window on the right. The first floor windows are plastic with leaded lights, and there is an additional similar two-light window at the far left. The entrance is a four-panelled door situated between the right-hand bays, adorned with a lozenge frieze panel and a cornice hood above, flanked by minimal pilaster strips.
