Description
Church Hill is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations and a date of 1782 marked in blue headers on the left gable. The building is constructed of brick, partly vitreous, featuring a flush vitreous band course at the first floor level and moulded eaves. The right gable includes some rubble stone. The roof, added in the 20th century, is tiled, and there are brick chimneys located to the right and between the left-hand bays. The house has two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The windows are 20th-century, three-light leaded casements, with the ground floor centre and left windows having cut brick heads. There are two hipped dormers with barred wooden casements, a two-light on the left and a four-light on the right. The lobby entry, situated between the left-hand bays, features a flush-panelled door that is top-lit, set in a plain wooden surround with a minimal pediment supported by brackets, and a blind panel above.
