Description

The Cottage is a small house that was formerly three cottages, dating from the 17th to early 18th century, with some alterations. The end bays are timber-framed with brick infill and some stone at the base, while the centre bay is made of brick. It features a half-hipped thatch roof and has two intermediate brick stacks. The building is 1½ storeys high and consists of three bays. On the ground floor, there are three-light barred casements, and there is one casement on the first floor beneath a thatch eyebrow. The centre bay has segmental heads above the ground floor window and the door to the left. There is a weatherboarded outbuilding attached to the right. The gable facing the road has similar casements on both floors.
