Description
The Grange is a house built in the late 18th century, with an extension added in a similar style in 1836, which is marked by blue headers on the gable wall. The building features irregularly chequered brickwork and moulded brick eaves. It has an old tile roof with brick stacks located at the gables and between the right-hand bays. The house is two storeys high and consists of three main bays. It has three-light leaded windows, with the ground floor windows having segmental heads. There is a similar 20th-century casement window in a blocked doorway between the left-hand bays, and above this is a blind panel that displays a Royal Exchange fire insurance plaque. Access to the rear is through the right-hand bay.
