Description
This barn, located 20 meters north of Munday Dean Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th to early 19th century and is currently being converted into a dwelling. It features flint and brick base walls with a timber frame above, mostly covered in weatherboarding, and a plain tile roof. The structure consists of seven bays. There are cart doors in the third bay and a gabled projecting entry in the fifth bay. The right bays have a lean-to in front and 1985 gabled dormers. An extension made of flint, brick, and timber with a 20th-century hipped tile roof is located at the right end. Inside, there are raking queen post trusses with curved braces supporting the tie-beams. The barn is included for its group value.
