Description

This barn, located 30 meters to the northwest of Millend Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It features a timber frame with weatherboarding and a flint and brick plinth, topped by a plain tile roof that has a half hip at the left end. The barn is approximately 7 to 8 bays long and includes a gabled projecting cart entry at the third bay, with cart doors directly opposite. In front of the right bays, there are three lean-to weatherboarded loose boxes. The trusses are supported by raking posts leading to single purlins, and they feature curved braces connecting to the tie-beams. This barn is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
