Description
Mill House is a house that was formerly the residence of a mill owner, built around 1770. The structure is made of flint, with the front rendered and whitewashed. It features a plain tile roof and a brick chimney located on the right side. The house has two storeys and an attic, arranged in three bays. Notable architectural details include an offset plinth, a first-floor band course, and coved eaves. The windows are three-pane sashes, square in shape on the first floor and attic, set in boxed frames. The attic windows are located in flat-roofed dormers. The central entrance consists of a flush panelled door with a rectangular fanlight and flanking 20th-century panelled pilasters, although the hood above the door is missing. To the right, there is a service wing that is set back, featuring a hipped roof and wooden casements, with the ground floor windows altered in the 20th century. The rear of the house includes one hipped bay and one gabled bay.
