Description

Why Cottage is a small house from the early 19th century. It features whitewashed roughcast with a slate roof that has overhanging eaves. There are flanking brick chimneys with octagonal shafts; the left chimney has two shafts, while the right has one. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. It has paired leaded casements with pointed lights and Tudor hoodmoulds. The door is slightly off-centre and has an arched top panel, set in a minimal porch made of whitewashed brick. There is a lean-to on the left side. At the rear, there are two bays with horizontal sliding sashes and two board doors.
