Description
This barn, located to the northeast of New Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It features a weatherboarded timber frame set on a rubble stone plinth, topped with a stone slate roof. The barn consists of seven bays overall, with a double purlin roof and tie-beam-and-collar trusses. The left section has four bays and includes opposed gabled cart entries, with the south entry featuring dove-openings in the gable. There are later lean-to additions on each side. The right section has three bays and a plain opening to the south.
