Description
Byde Mill is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one house, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone-tiled mansard roof with a central ridge stack. It has two storeys and an attic, with two dormers and two 2-light flush chamfered mullion windows on each floor. There are doors on each side, which are now blocked with inserted casements. A lean-to is located at the north end, while a 20th-century addition is at the south end. There is also a rear extension with a hipped gable. The building was formerly known as Byde Mill Cottages.
