Description
Attwood Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse built from rubble stone with a stone-tiled roof, featuring coped gables and stacks at the south end and ridge. The building has one and a half storeys. The west front includes two dormer gables and a two-window range of three-light recessed ovolo-moulded mullion windows, each with hoodmoulds. There is a door located between the windows, accessed through a timber porch, and a similar two-light window with a hoodmould at the left end.
The north-east rear wing has a stack and similar two-light windows on both the north and south sides, with ground floor windows featuring hoodmoulds. On the south side, there is a door to the right. To the east, there is a lower stone-tiled dairy wing. The rear of the main range has two dormer gables, each with a three-light flush chamfered mullion window; the left window is from the 20th century. Additionally, there is a central stair light and a ground floor three-light ovolo-moulded window with a hoodmould to the left, along with a four-pane window to the right.
