Description
No 1 Chapel Hill is a 17th-century cottage built of rubble stone, topped with a stone-tiled roof and featuring a rear wall stack. The cottage has two storeys, with a first-floor window that is a 2-light recessed ovolo-moulded mullion style. On the ground floor, there is a door set in a chamfered surround and a 2-light window from the 19th century with small panes. The end wall showcases a 3-light ovolo-moulded mullion window on the ground floor and upper casements. Attached to the northwest is a single-storey wing that has an east side-wall stack and a similar 3-light window in the end wall. Inside, there is an inglenook fireplace.
