Description
The coach house at Thingley Court Farm is a structure that dates from the early to mid 19th century, although it may have earlier origins. It is built from rubble stone and features a concrete tile roof, with coped gables and stacks at the ridge and west end. The west end has flush quoins and buttresses, and there are two dormer gables on each side, each with eaves-breaking two-light mullion windows. On the left side, there are paired flush segmental-arched coach entries that have board doors with hinges marked 'Collinge, Lambeth'. The east end includes a full-width cart entry supported by paired cast-iron I-beams for the lintel, with a loading door above. The roof is designed with king-post trusses.
