Description

34 Broadway is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of Amersham Broadway. It is constructed of red brick and features an old tile roof that is half hipped on the right side, along with a dentil brick cornice. The building stands three storeys tall and has a modern shop front. The first floor includes a Yorkshire casement window set beneath a segmental arch, while the second floor has another Yorkshire casement window under a painted lintel. The flank wall facing Norwoods Court has one barred window on the second floor, which also features a segmental arch.

At the rear, the building is attached to 1 Norwoods Court. The left-hand section, which is connected to No 36, dates back to the early 17th century but was refaced in the 18th century. This section has colourwashed rendering and an old tile roof that includes a gabled dormer with a 2-light Yorkshire casement window. The ground floor features a modern shop window beneath an old entablature and dentil cornice on the left side, a six-panel door on the left within an architrave surround, and an open porch with a pediment that has a small cyma recta moulding. The first floor has a Yorkshire casement window set in a moulded frame.
