Description

This is an 18th-century red brick building originally known as Broadway House, and later divided into Broadway Court, located on the south side of Amersham Broadway. The building has a hipped roof covered in old tiles, with two dormers featuring Yorkshire casements. The two storeys and attic are punctuated by four double-hung sash windows on each level, set in reveals with flat arches and linked cills forming a string course. The ground floor features three sash windows and a six-panel door with two glazed panels, set within panelled reveals and an architrave surround, topped by a 19th-century hood supported by fluted consoles. A single sash window is visible on the flank elevation, with a two-window wing containing sash windows with margin glazing. Irregular rear wings have been separated and are now individual houses.
