Description
No 60 on Broadway is a 17th-century timber-framed building with red brick infill and an old tiled roof. It features a gabled eaves dormer with a two-light casement window. On the right side, there is a four-panel door set in a thick frame, while a two-light casement window is located on the left. A notice board fixed to the first-floor wall displays a message from June 24, 1811, stating that magistrates have ordered the apprehension of common beggars, ballad singers, and other vagrants for legal action. The building has a projecting brick stack on the east gable wall.
