Description

Lines Cottage is an early 17th-century building that was refaced in the 18th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features an old tile roof with a gable end facing the street. The cottage is two storeys high with an attic. There is a door on the right side, which has a gabled canopy with a tiled roof and a boarded gable. To the left of the door, there is a modern 4-light casement window, and on the first floor, there is a similar projecting window. The attic has a two-light window, all of which are fitted with leaded glazing. The east flank elevation reveals exposed timber framing. Lines Cottage continues into Well House, Norwoods Court.
