Description
No. 194 Aylesbury Road is a house dating from the 17th century that has been refronted in 18th century red and some blue brick. It features an old tiled roof that is half hipped on the left side and has a large central brick chimney stack, with a gable top on the rear wing to its left. The house is two stories high, with a central door set in a modern open gabled porch, flanked by modern canted bay windows. Above, there are three-light leaded casements and a small two-light casement in the center. To the left, there is a lower one-bay addition with a slate roof, and at the back, there is an 18th century brick wing. Inside, the house has chamfered ceiling beams.
