Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed house that was largely refronted with red and some blue brick in the 18th century. It has an old tiled roof, hipped on the left side, with a large central chimney stack featuring projecting bands and a shaft. A smaller stack is located at the south end. The building is characterised by a moulded brick eaves cornice. It is two storeys high and includes a modern gabled porch opposite the main chimney stack. To the right is a four-light bay window with a tiled lean-to roof, and three-light casement windows are present to the left. There are two upper three-light casement windows. The rear (east) elevation features four upper casement windows, irregular ground floor openings, and a single-storey addition with a slate roof. Some timber framing remains visible in the gables.
