Description
No. 75 High Street is a house with origins dating back to the early 17th century. The front, made of red brick, was added in 1824, and there is a dated brick near the door. The structure features a timber frame and a plain tile roof, with a roughcast northern gable end where there used to be another bay. The house has two storeys above a cellar and includes three sash windows; the ground floor windows have cambered heads, while the first-floor windows have flush moulded frames. There is a 17th-century red brick chimney stack. The entrance door is located beneath an arched recess and is flanked by sunken fluted columns, with a leaded radiating fan above. The door itself has four moulded panels and two flush panels. The interior consists of three bays.
