Description
This is a house and shop dating to the 18th century, with alterations and casing from the 19th century, likely built upon an earlier timber-frame structure. The right side (No. 70) has a roughcast upper floor, while the left side (No. 68) displays an exposed timber frame and brick, which likely represents a 16th-century cross wing. The roof is covered with plain tiles. The building is two storeys high. The first floor has three sash windows from the mid-19th century, with flush wooden frames; the two right-hand windows lack glazing bars. A 20th-century shop front and entrance doors are present on the ground floor.
