Description

This is a house and shop dating to the 16th and 17th centuries, located on the west side of Redbourn High Street. The building has undergone several alterations over time. The ground floor is brick, with a more recent addition on the north side and a colour-washed section on the south side. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with plain tiles, with a 20th-century red brick gable end on the north side. The upper floor has three 1st-floor casement windows with glazing bars. A modern shop front and bow window are present. The interior of the south side features a chamfer-stopped beam and a restored inglenook fireplace.
