Description

This milestone, dating from the early to mid 19th century, is located on the south side of the road approximately 100 metres east of Killington New Bridge. It is made of dressed sandstone and has been painted white, although the paint is flaking. The milestone features a square plinth with chamfered corners and a semicircular shaft that has a rounded top. On the left side, it is inscribed with "BB / 7 3/4" and on the right side, it reads "KL / 8 3/4".
