Description

The Old School is a former grammar school that has been converted into a house. It dates from the late 18th century, although it features a 17th-century datestone. The building has been altered and extended in the 20th century. Constructed of rubble with stone dressings, it has a stone slate roof and is one storey high with three bays. There is a door on the right side, which is set in a 20th-century porch, and above it is the reset datestone. The façade includes two round-headed windows with rendered heads and keystones. A stack is located at the left gable end, and the roof structure features bolted king posts. Additionally, there is a 20th-century extension at the rear.
