HAWES SNAIZEHOLME SD 88 NW Barn approximately 10 11/133 metres to east of Pratts House, High Houses GV II

Former house, now barn. Dated 1683. Rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 ground-floor openings. Quoins. Ground floor on left: board door in quoined ashlar chamfered surround; on right, board door in quoined ashlar chamfered surround, inscribed on lintel, "IA 1683". Between, small shuttered window opening. Left return: stone steps to first-floor board door, corbelled stack projecting from first floor. Right return: external stack.
